CBI RESPONDS TO APPOINTMENT OF BUSINESS BANK ADVISORY GROUP CHAIR…
The CBI today responded to a Department for Business announcement that Sir Peter Burt, former Chief Executive of Bank of Scotland, has been confirmed as the chair of a group that will advise the Government on the establishment and direction of the business bank.
Matthew Fell, CBI Director for Competitive Markets, said:
“The CBI welcomes the appointment of Sir Peter Burt to chair the advisory group for the Government’s business bank.
“Sir Peter’s first challenge for 2013 will be to ensure the business bank has clear objectives to help small and medium businesses grow, like bringing all existing Government financial support under one roof. We look forward to working with him and colleagues to make that happen.”
