Successful Olympic Business Launches New Initiative for 2013…
CampingNinja successfully delivered an initiative during the Olympics that turned sports grounds into Campsites, giving customers value for money on accommodation during games time and allowing clubs to make money to fund sporting opportunities for young people.
The campaign was a huge success and the feedback from clubs and customers was very positive, they have been approached to roll out the same initiative for the Commonwealth Games and had interest from the Brazilian Tourism Board for Rio 2016.
Next year they launch CampingNinja Villages where they will roll out a similar model for outdoor events including sporting and festivals. The business is going from strength to strength since Rhian Evans and Geoff Vaughan won the ‘The Big Idea’ competition run by the Travel Trade Gazette and Dubai Tourism in 2009. Both keen campers they really want to make camping accessible to as many people as possible.
