Wilson Vale promotes from within…

Renier OberholzerWilson Vale has promoted Renier Oberholzer to general manager of operations to support its growing catering business.

Renier first joined the independent caterers in 2015 as a chef manger and was promoted to account operations manager at the Royal College of Nursing in April 2017.

This latest promotion is an operational role which sees Renier work alongside three other Wilson Vale general managers to lead their operational teams across 95 diverse catering sites.

Renier said: “My new role is far reaching, encompassing everything from project management and facilities to training & development, succession planning and resource planning, as well as managing the logistics of a multi-restaurant catering operation, driving quality standards and keeping our teams motivated and fulfilled and clients happy.”

Carolyne Vale, co-founder of Wilson Vale said: “We have watched Renier’s leadership and business skills grow since joining us three years ago. He has met every challenge and proved himself to be a well-respected, goal orientated manager with solid people management experience, impeccable standards and a great knowledge of food.”
