SUBWAY opens a new store in Stratford-upon-Avon creating jobs for local people…
A new SUBWAY® store will be coming to Stratford-upon-Avon, creating a number of new jobs for local people. The store, which will open its doors to the public at the end of July, will be situated inside The Visitor Information Centre, Bridgefoot, Stratford.
The store is owned and operated by local franchisees, brother and sister James and Andrea Fleck, who opened their first SUBWAY® store in Stratford in October 2009 at the Maybird Shopping Park.
The Visitor Information Centre is run by Stratford-upon-Avon College. Commenting on the opening, Simon Rouch, Commercial Director of the College said, “as part of our commitment to enhance the services we offer both visitors and residents, we are delighted to welcome Subway as a partner. We remain committed to supporting employment opportunities for local people as well as providing an excellent level of service to all our visitors”.
James Fleck, owner, said, ‘We have enjoyed such fantastic support from the people of Stratford-upon-Avon in our Maybird store, when the opportunity arose to open another store in the town centre we jumped at the chance.”
James continued, “Our aim is to continue to provide excellent value to our customers in terms of service, product quality and price. It’s clear that is what people want.”
The new store will cater for breakfast, coffee breaks, lunch and dinner periods and will open from 8am Monday through Saturday and from 10am on Sunday. The SUBWAY® chain offers a wide range of Subs including a unique low fat range of Subs for those who want to eat low fat without sacrificing great taste.
The entrepreneurial brother and sister are also developers for the SUBWAY® sandwich chain, and they are responsible for opening 64 SUBWAY® stores across Staffordshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire.
