Start & Grow programme launched to help new businesses succeed…
Starting your own business needn’t be a huge step into the unknown, thanks to a new support programme being launched by Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce.
Start & Grow is a practical business start-up programme for people in Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme who have a bright idea for a business and intend to employ other people.
Participants in the programme will be guided around all of the pitfalls via one-to-one advice sessions, workshops and masterclasses covering everything from business planning to financial and legal matters.
Start & Grow is aimed at start-ups that are looking to employ other people at the earliest opportunity and intend to make an investment of at least £5,000 in their business. This is a very unique programme with only 100 places to offer.
Staffordshire Chambers’ Head of Enterprise Linda Mcquade said: “Businesses that receive this kind of support are far more likely to succeed and flourish. This programme offers a solid foundation in all aspects of business management and once these key skills are put in place, a business will start to run more smoothly.”
She added: “By supporting entrepreneurs that have ambitions to grow and employ staff, we are not only helping their business to succeed, but we are also supporting the creation of new and exciting job opportunities.”
Start & Grow is a National Enterprise Network programme being delivered by Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce in Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Cannock and Walsall.
The programme will create sustainable businesses that make a long term contribution to the UK economy by encouraging a new generation of financially literate, adequately financed small business owners.
The programme is flexible in its nature and responsive to clients, tailoring the support required.
As well as workshops, one-to-one advice sessions, a masterclass session and an assessment of financial needs, participants will receive a free personal session with business advisors, accountants and solicitors, plus ongoing support from the chambers’ One2Three Club and Let’s Do Mentoring programme.
A place on the programme costs just £120. For more information, please contact email@example.com
