Mobile Fun announces mobile accessories distribution division and recruitment drive…
Mobile Fun, the UK’s leading online retailer of mobile device accessories, has announced that it is establishing a mobile accessories distribution division.
The new distribution business brand will be officially launched in early 2014.
Mobile Fun is currently recruiting for a “Head of Mobile Accessories Distribution” to develop the company’s channel strategy and lead the distribution team. The company is also hiring a sales executive, product developer and marketing executive for the distribution team.

Generating over three million monthly visits and 60,000+ customer-written product reviews on Mobile Fun websites, the company’s global marketing and procurement teams have in-depth knowledge of trends and consumer preferences.
Hussain added: “Our websites are regarded as a benchmark for retailers and distributors within the mobile industry. Through our new distribution business, retailers will have access to a product range that reflects the expertise Mobile Fun has built up through its close relationships with consumers. They will also benefit from a supply chain and logistics operation that ensures the fast time to market.”
Mobile Fun already stocks over 7,000 accessories for mobiles and tablets for its B2C online retail business. The new distribution business will draw on existing product and market expertise to launch up-and-coming brands from Mobile Fun’s vast network of suppliers and manufacturers, and will also promote the company’s innovative own-brand products.
While the UK market presents the most immediate opportunity, Mobile Fun is also in an ideal position to supply international customers and its global supplier base, local offices in six countries and portfolio of multi-lingual websites will help the company reach international retailers and dealers.
New customers will benefit from the company’s strong relationships with over 170 active global suppliers. Supplier relations will continue to be instrumental in Mobile Fun’s ability to offer “Everything First” with accessories available for leading smart phones ahead of the competition.
Our move into the distribution sector comes after a year of international expansion, which saw Mobile Fun announce record turnover and profits, reinforce its position as a global business with offices in six countries, an online presence in 31 countries and retail sales of £11.5 million. Mobile Fun’s financial strength will be fundamental to the successful establishment of the distribution business and the company will use its strong balance sheet to help fund an investment in stock and customer credit terms.
