LoveBrum duo banks Award Nomination…
Launched in 2015, Love Brum was set up by a team of passionate Brummies who wanted to shine a light on unknown and ‘hard to reach’ projects that might not otherwise get the profile. Each year, the charity supports 12 projects with funding, chosen by LoveBrum members, against a project that will directly benefit the people of Birmingham. Last year alone, LoveBrum showcased over 50 local projects, awarded over £24,000 and impacted thousands of people across the city.
Tim Andrews, Co-Founder, Chairman and charity Trustee, commented:
“What an absolute honour this is for the work of LoveBrum to be recognised by the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards. We work hard to shine a light on projects that need support and funding, and this award nomination will only help us to propel the charity and all of its beneficiaries. Our fingers are firmly crossed for the results!”
The NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards will celebrate entrepreneurship across a number of categories at five gala finals across the UK, including; Cardiff, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Manchester & London. The Birmingham awards will take place on 15 November at the Rep Theatre.
Creator of the Awards, Francesca James, concluded:
“We have been inundated with some incredible entries this year, and all shortlisted applicants should be extremely proud of themselves! This year has seen a record number of entrants and we’ve been absolutely blown away by the strength and diversity of applications.”
“We cannot wait to celebrate entrepreneurship across Great Britain with them, and put a spotlight on the incredible talent within the British entrepreneur ecosystem.”
