Intu Potteries - Intu Potteries #Twishlist Finds The Nation Most Wants An Ipad This Christmas...intu Potteries announced what’s hot on the nation’s Christmas list this year, after asking its shoppers to take to Twitter as part of the very first digital ‘twishlist’. Maintaining the technology theme, the search found that the tech savvy shoppers most want an iPad 2 this Christmas, allowing them to enjoy all their favourite entertainment on the go.

intu encouraged shoppers from 12 of its 16 centres across the UK to take to Twitter and tell Santa using #twishlist, what gifts they would love to receive this festive period. The engagement activity with intu’s Twitter followers, took place over the first two weeks of December and saw almost 3,000 shoppers share their Christmas Twishes with intu’s resident elves. Over the two weeks, Twitter was filled with the nation’s requests, with over 370 conversations generated each day.

The second most in demand Christmas present this year was ladies’ favourite; perfume, proving that classic gifts never change. Other popular brands from the #twishlist include Pandora bracelets, Ugg boots, Michael Kors watches and Mulberry handbags, adding a little luxury this festive period. The Twishlist also threw up some less-traditional requests that kept intu’s resident elves amused including a spindle of blank CD-Roms and a Del Boy dressing gown.

Topping the nation’s Christmas #twishlist this year are:

  4. Gift card
  5. iPod
  6. iPad Air
  7. Michael Kors watch
  8. Michael Kors bag
  9. Mulberry handbag
  10. Ugg Boots

intu Potteries also received some unusual requests from its shoppers, including Chocolate and some Converse shoes to walk the chocolate off!

Sandrine Rutter, Marketing Manager for intu Potteries, comments, “We have been thrilled with the response to our Christmas #twishlist campaign. It is great to be able to delve into what our customers really want in their stocking this year and loved reading all their responses.

At intu Potteries, our Twish was to spread Christmas cheer and thank our loyal customers, as such we were delighted to be able to grant some of these twishes this festive period.”

With such a great and varied range of present options, a wonderful festive in-centre experience and the first truly digital wishlist, that’s Christmas wrapped up with intu Potteries.
