Funding secured to support local agency for ex-prisoners…
Birmingham based independent Business Finance & Accountancy Services provider, Blue Sky Corporate Finance, has assisted the management team of Chance (2013) Ltd with sourcing and securing funding to set up an employment agency for ex-prisoners.
Located in the Old Sunbeam Factory in Wolverhampton, Chance (2013) Ltd in conjunction with HMP Featherstone works with prisoners who are coming to the end of their sentence to determine their suitability for job placements. Through direct involvement with the prisoners Chance are able to assist in identifying the most appropriate work placement for an individual enabling them to re-enter the job market and in turn give them the chance to earn a legal living and reduce the likelihood of them re-offending in the future.
Tony Seaton, Associate Director, Blue Sky Corporate Finance commented: “It was a pleasure to work with the dedicated team at Chance and to help them gain the finance they required to enable them to continue with this worthy project.”
Kate Beech, Managing Director, Chance 2013 Ltd said: “Blue Sky advised and assisted us with the fund raising process and supported us all the way. Having Tony on hand to guide us through the whole process was an immense help. We were so pleased with the level of support provided to us that we have also delegated our Bookkeeping and Accountancy requirements to Blue Sky. This has taken away our day-to-day financial worries, and enabled us to focus on the running of the business.”
