Fracino marks a 25% team expansion to meet growing demand

Fracino has boosted its payroll by 25% across the last 12 months as part of a multi-million pound investment programme to meet a growing demand for its products.

The Birmingham-based third generation family business which manufactures cappuccino and espresso machines has created nine new roles in the past few months alone – bringing the total headcount to 58.

The latest wave of new appointments comprises Josh Wright, UK business development executive with Chris Shearer, Anne-Flore Cuccolo, David Hemus and Shlomo Agboro  further boosting the production team. Barry Bowen and Stuart Waite take up their roles as service engineers, Jo Snow joins the sales team – and Liam Bushell starts his apprenticeship with the sheet metal team.

The arrivals are key to the continued growth of Fracino, which produces more than 5,000 coffee machines annually for a client portfolio spanning SUBWAY®, Patisserie Valerie, Druckers coffee shops and Pathfinder pub chains.

MD, Adrian Maxwell, said: “We constantly seek people with skills and potential in every area of the business to meet our growing orders in the UK and overseas.

“It is vital that our top-class production team is complemented by first class customer care and sales professionals who are strong ambassadors as we sustain our continued success though investment and innovation.”

Producing nine machines across 2008-2016, Fracino has exported to three new countries in the last 12 months and scooped a raft of high-profile awards.

The manufacturer’s investment programme also includes a major extension to accommodate a state-of-the-art showroom and visitor lounge along with a Technical Training Centre of Excellence.
