The competition will give entrepreneurs the opportunity to secure funding and other support services to develop their business by submitting a 90-second video pitch. The programme is designed to inspire, advise and ultimately to help take businesses up to the next level. Although there is no cash prize available the competition will bring participants to the attention of potential funders.
Polish Business Link’s, Bart Kowalczyk, comments: “The competition is aimed at helping more bright ideas come to fruition and celebrate diverse entrepreneurship. Despite Brexit, the UK is able to attract entrepreneurial talent from around the world, as it is one of the best environments for doing business. The UK offers an ecosystem of institutional support, access to finance, business angels and mentors – not to mention a network of incubators, incentives and professional services.”
Applicants are required to submit an online application form before midday on 08 October 2017. All approved applications will receive an email requesting a ‘pitch’ video up to 90 seconds long, setting out their business idea.
The video needs to set out their support needs, market and USP. The successful candidates will be invited for the final pitch during the Forth UK Polish Entrepreneur’s Congress to be held in London on Friday 10 November at the offices of NatWest/RBS.
