Clarke Willmott expands commercial litigation team in Manchester…
Christie Johnson joins the team as a Solicitor and Sophie Woodley joins as a Paralegal.
Christie Johnson comes from Glaisyers Solicitors where he worked for five years as a paralegal and solicitor, bringing experience in commercial disputes, property disputes, insolvency, debt recovery, contested probate and trust disputes.
At Clarke Willmott Christie will be focussing on dispute resolution, specialising in company contractual disputers, unfair prejudice claims, derivative actions and injunctions. He will also deal with professional negligence claims and defamation.
Sophie Woodley completed the Legal Practice Course at Northumbria University, achieving a Distinction and joins Clarke Willmott from a Newcastle-upon-Tyne firm.
Sophie has also volunteered at the Citizens Advice Bureau and has been a member of both the Junior Lawyers Division and Women Lawyers Division.
At Clarke Willmott Sophie will be assisting with complex commercial litigation disputes, in particular director, shareholder and partnership disputes; professional advisor claims; defamation; contractual disputes, injunctions and asset recovery.
