CBI Response to Redundancy Case…

Katja Hall, CBI Chief Policy DirectorThe CBI has responded to remarks by the European Court of Justice Advocate General regarding potential changes to redundancy legislation.

Katja Hall, CBI Deputy Director-General, said: 

“We hope that the court will accept the Advocate General’s advice. This will provide a welcome boost to UK businesses by reducing the administrative burden that had forced them to undertake numerous redundancy consultations.

“We’re glad the Government heeded our advice by appealing an incorrect judgement that has been needlessly harming British companies.”
