CBI COMMENTS ON IMPACT ASSESSMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION REFORMS…
Neil Carberry, CBI Director for Employment and Skills, said:
“The UK desperately needs more highly-skilled workers to stop us falling behind our competitors.
“With a 40% drop in part-time undergraduate applications since 2010, the Government must work with businesses and explore incentives to encourage more training in key growth sectors such as manufacturing, engineering and science.
“Employers and learners need clearer information on financing studies, and universities must be supported to offer more flexibility around courses.”
