Auto Styling Truckman hits recruitment target with new warehousing and production appointments…
Auto Styling Truckman, long standing manufacturer and supplier of 4×4 accessories, has met its recruitment targets after it added three new members to its warehouse and production teams to manage increased sales levels.
Over the last seven months the Brierley Hill-based company has increased its workforce from 39 to 50 – a target it set itself as part of a significant investment in its facilities.
The new additions Lee Jordan, Tracey Green and Ben Davies boast a wealth of experience gained in previous roles.
Lee, 34, from Brierley Hill, has been appointed as Auto Styling Truckman’s Warehouse Supervisor and will oversee a very hectic stockholding facility. He is responsible for the inventory, health and safety, staff and working procedures.
Lee brings with him over 15 years of supervisory experience having worked as a Production Foreman in specialist Warehousing and Distribution.
Tracey, 53, from Worcestershire, has joined as a Hardtop Production Finisher and is responsible for ensuring the final product meets the company’s quality standards. Tracey joins from Sealine, a manufacturer of luxury boats, where he worked as a Finisher until the company entered liquidation in 2013.
The final addition, Ben 23, from Dudley, joined as a Warehouse Operator role. He will be tasked with the picking, packing and dispatch of products that pass through the facility.
Auto Styling Truckman is a specialist UK manufacturer of hardtops for 4×4 and pick-up trucks. Its British-built hardtop range is popular with business owners and is also used by fleet operators for a variety of industries including construction, agriculture and the utilities sector.
Mike Wheeler, Managing Director of Auto Styling Truckman, said: “We’ve significantly expanded our team since the beginning of the year. It’s a very exciting time and the increase in staff numbers represents our continued success. It is also very satisfying to hit our recruitment targets, which demonstrates we are on track with our programme of growth and expansion.”
