Expected to be worth over £1 million, the contract is the first of its kind and sees Itihaas become the Warwickshire venue’s exclusive Indian caterer.

Set to generate over £300,000 per year, the partnership will allow a more streamlined approach to specialist events at Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club; from corporate events through to large scale wedding celebrations. Having historically worked with multiple suppliers, this is the first time the venue has signed exclusively with one Indian caterer.

Itihaas’ team will now work alongside the venue to provide bespoke wedding and event planning, in addition to award-winning catering. This builds upon its existing portfolio of event management that helps deliver five-star events at venues across the UK. From traditional Mandaps and designer room dressing, to stunning Walima and Nikkah stages, Itihaas has dressing and décor to suit every budget.

Speaking about the contract Raj Rana, Managing Director at Itihaas, comments:

“This is such a fantastic partnership for us to secure – working with Warwickshire’s most exclusive venue to deliver show-stopping events. Our expert team will now be on hand, every step of the way, to plan and deliver the perfect event; crafting menus that perfectly suit the occasion. This is absolutely what we do best, and I know that the team will produce fantastic results for every client.

In addition to our event management, we have years of experience catering for Asian events and we’re continually striving for excellence, with innovative dishes that keep customers coming back to us. We are also developing more fusion menus, which are perfect for contemporary weddings, where guests want choice and the happy couples wants something that will make their big day stand out. This will now be on offer at Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club too.”

Based within the glorious Warwickshire countryside, and just a stone’s throw from Birmingham Airport and Birmingham International Train Station, the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club is a seamless blend of sophistication and convenience. It boasts 18 rooms, totaling 1,045 square metres of event space, holding up to 350 guests at one time. Licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies, the complex is perfect for even the most important of celebrations, and can now offer specialist Indian catering as part of this Itihaas deal.

The venue – which also boasts stylish accommodation, two golf courses, a spa and AA-Rosette dining – joins an impressive list of locations already working with Itihaas. Guests looking for Indian events and weddings at Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Birmingham Hilton Metropole, Moor Hall Hotel, Ricoh Arena and West Midlands Safari Park, to name a few, can also enjoy the expertise of the Itihaas team.

With a restaurant based in the heart of Birmingham, Itihaas is an established and celebrated Indian restaurant. Its cuisine is inspired by the Mughul era, when Indian dining was imperial and extravagant, which is seen not just through the décor of the restaurant but the food served up at Itihaas events.
